Sometimes I feel that people over look the great things that green building offers. The reduction of water, electricity, and gas are only the first part of this. What about the true things that should matter in life. Our friends, family, and most of all the people that live on this earth after us. Why should we leave this for them to figure out? I am not saying that you need to build a straw house but at least take some time and get the info before you build. Most of these "GREEN" items should be expected from home owners. Please, do not allow builders to take short cuts any more. When you look for a home builder please, make sure you set your expectations up front.
